Contracting

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is responsible for managing and administering the New Zealand Aid Programme. MFAT uses a range of contracting and funding arrangements in the delivery of New Zealand Aid Programme activities. These follow New Zealand Government procurement guidelines, which are designed to ensure the efficient and effective use of public monies, as well as promoting open and effective competition, ethics, fair dealing, accountability and reporting.
